What is the difference between Everything Santa and Classic Visit?

Everything Santa is our all-inclusive Visit Option. You're welcome to use your own phone for unlimited photos and video during your visit while our professional photography team captures the experience as well. You'll receive all of the professionally edited digital images we create, along with a print release and 50% off professional prints.

Classic Visit is our traditional Visit Option. Your $39 reservation secures your family's approximately five-minute visit with Santa. We professionally photograph your experience, and afterward you'll have the opportunity to view your images and purchase the photographs and products you love. Packages start at $24.95.

How long is our visit with Santa?

Visits are approximately five minutes. It may sound quick, but it's plenty of time for conversation, smiles and a little Christmas magic.

Are we reserving a specific Santa?

No. Your reservation secures your family's date and time, not a specific Santa. We're happy to share our Santas' current scheduled appearance dates, but schedules may change due to availability, illness or other circumstances.

Are reservations refundable?

No. Santa on the Square reservations are non-refundable.

When should we arrive?

Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled time and check in with a staff member when you arrive. Because visits are scheduled approximately every five minutes, arriving on time helps us keep Santa's schedule running smoothly.

What should we wear?

There's no required dress code. Christmas pajamas, holiday dresses, Sunday best or something completely your own — all are welcome.

Can I take pictures with my phone?

It depends on your Visit Option. With Everything Santa, absolutely. You're welcome to use your own phone for unlimited photos and video during your visit.

Personal cameras and cell phone photography are not permitted during Classic Visit. Our professional photography team will capture your experience.

Can I record video?

Yes, with Everything Santa. You're welcome to use your own phone to record video throughout your visit.

How do I see the photographs from my Classic Visit?

After your visit, you'll receive an email and text message with a link to your private online gallery. From there, you can view your images and choose the photographs and Package you'd like to purchase.

Does the $39 Classic Visit reservation include photographs?

No. The $39 reserves your family's visit with Santa. Photographs and products are purchased separately after you view your images. Packages start at $24.95.

What do I receive with Everything Santa?

Everything Santa gives you the best of both worlds. During your visit, you're welcome to use your own phone to take unlimited photos and video while our professional photography team captures the experience as well.

After your visit, you'll receive all of the professionally edited digital images we create, along with a print release. Everything Santa families also receive 50% off professional prints.

What Classic Visit Packages are available?

Classic Visit Packages begin at $24.95, with options ranging from professional prints and a social media file to complete digital collections and packages that include both prints and digital images.

Can I purchase digital files?

Yes. Digital files are available in select Classic Visit Packages. Everything Santa already includes all professionally edited digital images from your visit.

Can I reschedule my visit?

Yes. You may reschedule your reservation through the self-service rescheduling option up to 48 hours before your scheduled visit, subject to availability.

What happens if we're late?

Please arrive a few minutes early and check in with a staff member when you arrive. If you're late, we'll do our best to work your family in as soon as possible.

What happens if there is bad weather?

Santa on the Square takes place indoors, so weather does not usually affect our visits. If weather conditions require us to make changes to the schedule, we'll post updated information on our website.

Which Santa will we see?

Santa on the Square features Santa Steve, Santa Mayes and Santa Kevin. Different Santas appear on different dates throughout the season.

Can I choose which Santa we see?

No. Families reserve a date and time rather than a specific Santa.

Where can I see the Santa schedule?

Visit our Meet the Santas page to see each Santa's currently scheduled appearance dates. Please remember that Santa schedules are subject to change.

Where is Santa on the Square?

Santa's Little Workshop is located in the little houses at the corner of Virginia and Kentucky Streets in Downtown McKinney Square, directly in front of the McKinney Performing Arts Center (MPAC).

What address should I use for navigation?

Use the McKinney Performing Arts Center as your landmark: 111 N Tennessee St, McKinney, TX 75069.

Santa's Little Workshop is not inside MPAC. Look for the little houses at Virginia and Kentucky directly in front of the Performing Arts Center.

Where should we park?

Downtown McKinney has several public parking options. You can view current parking and trolley information before your visit.

How many families are included in one reservation?

Each reservation is for one household. If multiple households would like to visit Santa, each household should make its own reservation.

Is Santa on the Square the same as Magic of Santa®?

No. Santa on the Square and Magic of Santa® are two different Christmas experiences at two different locations, both created by Magic Makers Studio.

Santa on the Square offers approximately five-minute visits with Santa in Historic Downtown McKinney.

Magic of Santa® is our more immersive experience featuring a 45-minute private Santa session at a separate location.
